You really don’t want to be a heartworm or a gastrointestinal worm around this particular product. If you were, you’d be paralysed before disintegrating and passing through a dog’s…er…rear end. Not a nice ending, but then worms aren’t particularly nice animals. They can cause ill health and even death in our loveable and much-loved dogs, so really, they’ve got it coming to them.
Interceptor is a tasty chew that, when administered monthly, helps in the prevention of heartworm and gastrointestinal worms including roundworm, whipworm, hookworm and tapeworm. You must get your dog checked for worms before giving him this treatment, as infected dogs will sometimes suffer from a transient shock-like reaction. Consult with your veterinarian for more advice.
