There’s a reason the check chain has been around for more than a century as a tool for trainers: when used properly, it’s a highly effective method for correcting dogs’ behaviour on the lead. Rudducks Check Chain functions by quickly communicating to your dog the exact moment it has made a mistake – by way of sound and movement.
A few words of warning: a check chain is designed for training only. It should be worn only for short periods and only during walking or training. Never leave your pet unattended while it is wearing the chain. The moving end of the chain should be positioned over, not under, the dog’s neck. The collar should be loose at all times, except for the split-second tightening needed to correct the dog’s behaviour.
