**Like the rest of the retail industry, Jumbo Pets is currently experiencing a higher demand than usual. Our customer service and warehouse staff are doing their very best to get your orders out to you as soon as possible. Please be patient with us as you may experience a delay in our usual dispatch and shipping times**
Please note that during busy holiday seasons (eg. Christmas), there can sometimes be short delays with couriers and Australia Post that are out of our control as they deal with a huge increase in delivery volumes at certain times of the year.
Jumbo Pets FLAT RATE shipping amounts are as follows:
Outside of these, the shipping cost you pay will be dependent on your location and the weight of your order. To work out your shipping cost you can simply enter your postcode into the box at the top of our website. Then as you add items to your cart, the shipping costs shown will change to reflect the weight of the items being added. Your final shipping cost will be displayed in your checkout page before you proceed to payment so that you know exactly how much your shipping will be.
Dispatch and time frames
Orders placed before 12pm on any normal weekday will be dispatched on the same day - so long as the item is in stock and ready to be dispatched.
If an order is placed after 12pm, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse early the following day - again, if the item is in stock and ready to be dispatched.
Below is a guideline for our regular delivery times after dispatch.
These are normal times (98% success rate). We allow 1 day to dispatch your order but there are rare unexpected delays that can occur which are out of our control and may delay your delivery. However, our promise to you is that we deliver on time or we credit back your delivery charge!
If you have received a parcel outside the estimated despatch and shipping times for your area please simply call or email us and we will investigate and add a credit (the cost of your original shipping) to your Jumbo Pets account for your next order.
How your order is shipped
We use Australia Post and Fastway Couriers services to deliver your order so we deliver anywhere they do - this means delivery to your Post Office Box is absolutely fine!
During the checkout process there is a delivery instructions comment box if you have any special requests. Please note: not all requests will be able to be made, however we will attempt to ensure we provide the best service we can.
At checkout you will be required to choose from the following two methods of delivery. 'Sign on Delivery' or 'Authority to Leave'.
Once your order is despatched you will receive an email with your parcels tracking number.
Yes we deliver to Post Office boxes!
Couriers don't work over public holidays, so please be prepared for possible delays to delivery times these times. Delays should be expected especially around Christmas, and to a lesser extent Easter, as courier routes become congested. Our best advice would be to order early to minimise the risk of not getting an item delivered by your preferred time.
