    Public holiday impact on shipping

    Please note that during busy holiday seasons (eg. Christmas), there can sometimes be short delays with couriers and Australia Post that are out of our control as they deal with a huge increase in delivery volumes at certain times of the year. 

    Store Pick Up

    Pick up from Jumbo Pets in Campbelltown NSW is available. Unfortunately we are unable to accept payment on pick up. After you place your order on our website selecting 'pick up' instead of a shipping option, you will receive an order confirmation from us via email. Then when your order is ready for you to pick up, you will receive a pick up confirmation email from us confirming this.

    You need to bring this pick up confirmation email with you when you pick up your order.

    All pickups have a minimum 4 hour turnaround time (business hours). Peak season orders may experience longer turn around times so you are advised to place orders in advance we ask that you please wait to be advised that your order is complete before you attempt pickup. If you have any questions please contact our friendly customer service team on 1300 906 146.

    Shipping costs

    Jumbo Pets offers FREE SHIPPING to most metro and major regional areas including (but not limited to) Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Wollongong, Newcastle and the Central Coast. Outside of the these areas shipping costs are calculated on the weight of the items and the destination postcode. 

    • Free Shipping is only valid for approved orders over $99AUD. Postage costs do not count towards the $99 order value
    • Free Shipping will be automatically applied as a shipping discount at checkout
    • Free Shipping excludes Australia Post Express

    Jumbo Pets FLAT RATE shipping amounts are as follows:

    • FREE SHIPPING for selected Meds Items*
    • $6.95 nationally for all parcels under 500g
    • $6.95 to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Wollongong (orders under $99)
    • $8.95 to Canberra, Gosford, Newcastle and the NSW Central Coast (orders under $99)

    Outside of these, the shipping cost you pay will be dependent on your location and the weight of your order. To work out your shipping cost you can simply enter your postcode into the box at the top of our website. Then as you add items to your cart, the shipping costs shown will change to reflect the weight of the items being added. Your final shipping cost will be displayed in your checkout page before you proceed to payment so that you know exactly how much your shipping will be.


    FREE SHIPPING on orders under $99:

    1. Free shipping for orders under $99 is only available for some of the small pet med items like flea and worm products that can fit in an envelope.
    2. These are sent in an envelope via regular post which has no tracking number or insurance. These can take up to 3 weeks for delivery and any purchases sent in this manner are posted at the purchaser's own risk.
    3. Product packaging may be opened to allow it fit in a regular envelope. (Complete with items, instructions and packaging) 

    Dispatch and time frames

    Orders placed before 12pm on any normal weekday will be dispatched on the same day - so long as the item is in stock and ready to be dispatched.

    If an order is placed after 12pm, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse early the following day - again, if the item is in stock and ready to be dispatched.

    Below is a guideline for our regular delivery times after dispatch.

    These are normal times (98% success rate). We allow 1 day to dispatch your order but there are rare unexpected delays that can occur which are out of our control and may delay your delivery. However, our promise to you is that we deliver on time or we credit back your delivery charge!

    If you have received a parcel outside the estimated despatch and shipping times for your area please simply call or email us and we will investigate and add a credit (the cost of your original shipping) to your Jumbo Pets account for your next order.

    How your order is shipped

    We use Australia Post and a number of courier services to deliver your order so we deliver anywhere they do - this means delivery to your Post Office Box is absolutely fine!

    During the checkout process there is a delivery instructions comment box if you have any special requests. Please note: not all requests will be able to be made, however we will attempt to ensure we provide the best service we can.

    At checkout you will be required to choose from the following two methods of delivery. 'Sign on Delivery' or 'Authority to Leave'.


    • Simply check the option for ‘Authority to Leave’ at checkout
    • Enter any relevant delivery instructions in the comment field (eg. Please leave parcel on front porch)
    • Be aware that if you live in certain housing (especially apartments) your parcel may not be left even if you request it. Australia Post and Fastway Couriers reserve the right for their staff to not leave a package if they deem your property a risk to themselves or they believe the parcel is at risk of theft or damage. On the rare occasion that this occurs, if your package is being delivered via Australia Post you will be required to collect it from the designated Australia Post facility. If your package is being delivered via Fastway Couriers you will be able to arrange re-delivery of your parcel or pick it up from their closest depot
    • When you choose this delivery option please also be aware that Jumbo Pets will not be able to offer any further assistance if your order is lost or subsequently goes missing after it has been deemed delivered by the carrier.


    • Simply choose the option for 'Sign on Delivery' at checkout
    • You will need to be present to sign for your delivery
    • When you receive your delivery please ensure you check the parcel for any damage
    • If the package is damaged please notify us immediately so we may investigate and rectify the situation
    • If you are not available to sign for the delivery when the Australia Post staff arrive it is likely they will take the item to their Australia Post facility to await collection.
    • If your package is being delivered via Fastway Couriers you will be able to arrange re-delivery of your parcel or pick it up from their closest depot


    Once your order is despatched you will receive an email with your parcels tracking number.

    Public Holidays

    Couriers don't work over public holidays, so please be prepared for possible delays to delivery times these times. Delays should be expected especially around Christmas, and to a lesser extent Easter, as courier routes become congested. Our best advice would be to order early to minimise the risk of not getting an item delivered by your preferred time.
